Hi Guys
I have a friend who seems to be giving it the following thoughts on a consistent basis.

It seems like quite an effective web of excuses and fear etc - what would you do if this was you or your client do you think?

Also what do you think about people's financial thermostat - i know a chap who works from home and just does mega hours even though he earns 500k per year.
Amazing discipline / work ethic.
Yet for others this is not even the minimum they will accept and for others they can never imagine doing this.

Here are my friends patterns - partly lifted from an email:

It feels like i dont want to go through what it takes to not have financial scarcity.

So that means i am scared of all the effort, uncertainty, rejection, tiredness, admin, confusion, greediness, not caring about others financial situation, having a huge ego required to make all that money.

It seems my enthusiasm has run out in life PLUS if i did pay off all my loans and mortgage i would just spend it all again anyway and get in even more trouble and feel even worse so better to not waste all that time and hassle ‘getting’ all that money.

Its better to keep myself safe and not get all that money as its dangerous in my hands and I cant NOT spend it when i have it – as its like sleeping with your wife but remaining celebate until retirement age!

I also dont want to be a very sad, boring git and scrimp and save every penny and count pennies and collect coupons and change my insurance company as the new policy is one pound cheaper.

I want excitement in life not mundane boredom equivalent to not breathing at all until i am like 85 and ready for retirement.

Plus when I was younger i did not have the dread of massive monthly bills to cope with – even if i have 3 really good months within a month i will still be back to juggling balances to avoid going overdrawn so what’s the point of anything anymore.

If i could work 4 or 5 days a week and earn around 1k/2k per week that would be great.

But it seems that more than two days a week at least are required for EACH of the following, so there’s no way i can achieve the ideal situation above:
Business and life admin
Sales and marketing
Making new products
Delivering trainings

Also i have zero self discipline working from home so can only go at 50 hours a week for so long - before i run out of steam so i feel helpless on that too!
